I have spent nearly my entire summer working at the Owasso 10 movie theater, but despite the extracurricular activities
that I have sacrificed, I have made good money. Sadly, however, I have been unable to save any of it. Today is payday, and
my check was a pretty good chunk of money. $100 dollars of it has to go to paying my mom back for a man's car that I wrecked
into. I'd like to save the rest of it, and I should, but it may not happen. You see, I'm trying to find someone who might
sell me an ipod for cheap! It's all the rage here, but I need one. I need a way to listen to music whilst I am cleaning auditoriums
at work. Well, I don't suppose I actually need a way, but still, it would be nice!
Oddly, I have only been able to make it to church twice this entire summer. I suppose I could have made more of an effort
to go, but it's in the past now. What can I do save to make retribution to God? I love the church that I'm now attending,
though I've not yet attended a Sunday service there. Anyway, I really enjoy the Wednesday evening youth service, and I would
like to invite anyone to come to the First Baptist Church of Owasso; approximately 1 mile east of Walmart on 96th St. You
won't be disappointed!
Making friends has never really seemed to be a challenge to me, yet neither has losing them! I'm usually good about keeping
them, though! But I have made so many friends here in Oklahoma it's kind of unbelievable. I still miss all my homies back
in Leander, but Oklahoma isn't so bad! I remember always complaining about the environment in my mother's home here, especially
when I was actually threatened with being sent back, like some piece of mail sent to the wrong home! But I have changed that
viewpoint to realize that it is a good thing for me to be here. It is good for me to be out from underneath the pressures
of my previous residence for a time, despite the people I miss so terribly much!
